A little bit of history…
Throughout the 80’s and 90’s our previous studio was located in the heart of Hollywood, California just blocks from all of the major film and television studios. We were surrounded by several prominent prop houses and film labs and were patronized by many small production companies seeking photo or video studio rental space. During those formative years we came to understand the most important needs of those who came through our doors for both day shoots and long-term lockouts. By listening and being responsive to their many and varied requests, we were able to consistently provide a comfortable and productive working atmosphere that helped our clients get their work done despite the pressures of a traditionally high-stress industry fraught with deadline-driven production schedules.
In 2000, we moved to Oceanside, California in North San Diego County and brought what we learned with us. Here we built our new studio from the ground up with the goal of providing the same high-quality service to our new clientele that we had previously provided for our patrons in Los Angeles. This is what became Oceanside Photographics Rental Studio. Located just five blocks from the Pacific Ocean and the scenic Oceanside Pier, we found a beautiful place to provide the very best experience for photo and video studio rental.
Statistically speaking, about 98% of all videographers, photographers, production companies and private businesses in Southern California do not maintain their own in-house creative space. These days many work from their home, office or co-op and rent studio space for media projects when they have that requirement. Many of the larger corporate entities have closed their in-house media departments and have chosen instead to sub the work out to independent contractors. There are very few professional film studios in San Diego and many have closed in recent years. We exist for those people who need studio space to shoot the films, videos and stills that they need for their various concerns. We also host webinars, rehearsals and other things that our studio has proven to be ideal for. And have no fear, we have been at our current location for over 20 years and plan to continue providing Southern California creative professionals with a great place to work for many years to come!

- Large, comfortable front reception area can be used as a waiting room for clients/talent with two bathrooms available
